Kaka in training ground bust-up


World Cup news: Kaka

Brazilian midfielder Kaka was involved in an altercation with Felipe Melo during a training session.

According to reports in Estado de Sao Paulo, Kaka was furious with Melo for a rash challenge that could have resulted in a serious injury.

Despite Melo's repeated apologies the Real Madrid player walked off the pitch in a huff and the situation had to be brought under control by the training staff.

It has not been a great season for the former FIFA World Player of the Year. He moved to Real with a massive reputation but a combination of indifferent form and injuries saw him being overshadowed by another Galactico - Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was the highest scorer for the los Blancos - continuing from where he had left off at Manchester United.

The Portuguese's achievements only served to throw into sharp relief Kaka's meagre contributions and he was even accused of feigning injury towards the back-end of a disastrous campaign.

The future is unclear as well, with his position in the starting eleven uncertain under new coach Jose Mourinho.

Kaka is reportedly concerned that he won't fit into Mourinho's scheme of things and indeed, there have been reports that the treble-winning coach wants to offload the Brazilian to Chelsea in exchange for Frank Lampard and Ashley
